They have no idea how much time we had to spend or what back breaking labor we had to endure to finally reap in our crop of rice. Yes, it`s hard for  my grandkids to try and understand what life was like when I, their old granny, was a young girl. They certainly could not imagine what things were like back in the days when MY OWN granny was young.
