A 63-year-old Limpopo man has been brought to justice after he allegedly murdered his wife during a heated argument before evading police.
A 63-year-old man from Polokwane has been arrested after allegedly murdering his wife on Saturday 6 February. It is believed that the man drew a firearm and shot his 55-year-old spouse after the pair became involved in a heated argument, and police have suggested that this latest heinous act of gender based violence (GBV) was foreshadowed by years of prior domestic abuse.
Police apprehended the man, who had fled the scene of the crime, three days after the gruesome incident when he was discovered at an unoccupied house where he had taken refuge.
