Midway, AR. - A 29-year-old female individual from Midway has been arrested on a Class Y Charge for trafficking fentanyl. This arrest began with the Arkansas State Police meeting with an unnamed informant and the 14th Judicial Task Force. The talk was on making a purchase of fentanyl from a known dealer within the area. A recording device was fitted onto the informant, and they met with Trystina Meadows, who supplied the informant with a bit over 2 grams of fentanyl. Meadows was arrested shortly thereafter and charged with a felonies Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Distribution within proximity of a certain facility. Meadows is currently being held in the Baxter County Detention Center as of 11:42am, January 24th on a $22,250 bond.

A Mountain Home man arrested twice within a four-day span pled guilty to the charges against him during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Monday.
Thirty-year-old Tommy Dwight Gattis was given three years in prison.
He was first booked into the Baxter County Detention Center on Dec. 4 last year and rearrested a few days later on additional drug charges.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the first arrest came when Gattis was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over by an Arkansas State trooper.
There were two other adults – 52-year-old Tommy Hitt II and 27-year-old Trystina Meadows in the SUV, as well as a juvenile.
