Nashville-based Bass, Berry & Sims has added Jennifer Michael as a member of the firmâs healthcare practice in its Washington D.C. office.
In addition, the healthcare practice recently added two associates Allison Beattie and Angela Haddon in Washington D.C., according to a release.
Michael (pictured) is the former chief of the industry guidance branch at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Counsel, to the inspector general. The community-wide celebration of this year’s nominees is open to the public and will be held Thursday, June 3, at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1200 Conference Center Boulevard. The Rutherford County Schools are teaming up with Trustpoint Hospital in Murfreesboro for an important seminar geared towards parents.
The event will provide youth suicide prevention training for parents, an important topic that school administrators and teachers are often asked about.
Adolescent psychiatrist Dr. Anaad Patel and TrustPoint Hospital s adolescent unit nurse manager Amy Allen, RN will discuss warning signs, steps you can take and resources available to help prevent suicide in youth.
The informational event for parents will be on April 29th from 6-7 p.m. at the Rutherford County Schools Central Office, 2240 Southpark Drive in Murfreesboro.
