Items previously delivered to the foodbank MORE THAN £1,500 have been donated to Wokingham s foodbank recently, donated by a housebuilding company. Wokingham Foodbank was given the funds by David Wilson Homes, a house-building company working in the Wokingham area. They donated a total of £2,000 to the organisation, in the hopes of supporting families in need this Christmas. The donation is also to be matched by parent company Barratt Developments. Samantha Stapley, Chief Operating Officer at the Trussell Trust, the parent organisation to Wokingham Foodbank, said: “More people are turning to foodbank’s as the Coronavirus outbreak continues. Our teams are ensuring that foodbanks can remain open for those who need them and and have plenty of stock available to respond to demand.
