was counted first, and in those states, it looked like joe biden was doing better than he ended up doing. there was a time when it looked like joe biden was going to win ohio. he was way ahead in the count, they were counting the votes that came in on election day and biden lost ohio considerably. and the reverse you see happening, reverse process in a state like pennsylvania, which didn t even start counting those mail-in votes until election day. it takes time, david, and we all knew it, the president knew it, his team knew it. and that s an excellent point, because early in the night, it looked like joe biden was doing very well in ohio, but then, because they did the early vote right away and then got to the day of vote and then republicans caught up and the president won in ohio, as he pointed out in his briefing just moments ago. but again, it s the electoral map and we ve got to go state-by-state here. jon karl us with again tonight. thank you. we ll see you in prime time at 1
higher than that margin. you also have to look at where those ballots are coming from. many of them are coming from blue strongholds like here in philadelphia. and i actually have been told by people here in philadelphia that the ballots here won t be likely finished counting until tomorrow. they say they were slowed down today because of those legal challenges over poll watchers, david. all right, you heard from eva pilgrim there, joe biden would need about, she crunched this number with our political team, and it s just an estimate, because that s all we have at this point. about 62%, which is a fairly high bar, but the biden campaign feels pretty confident, given where the votes are coming in, that they re going to be able to pull this off. the president s team confident they re going to win pennsylvania. so we ll continue to watch that. in georgia, there s also news coming in tonight, because the race is very close there, as well. new results coming in as we re on the air tonight
