for reelection? i believe maybe he does. it s kind of lien you you try to take the keys away from your grandfather when he hit that signpost for, like, a third time, or back to his car into something. and you say, you can t drive anymore, and he s like, you are not taking these keys for me. perhaps that s what we see from joe biden. it s funny he sees bernie sanders as the big threat considering bernie would be in his 90s if he were to run for president and actually win two terms, which is not with the president of this country needs. i believe many democrats believe joe biden closer to his 90s would be in the second term that is a prospect most americans would be uncomfortable with. the lack of respect thing, when you are polling lower than any president in polling history, from truman to trump, respect has to go away. it s like the new york jets who haven t won a super bowl in something like 53 years saying, hey, where s my respect?
love out there. what did he expect? the most unpopular president in the history of presidential polling. from truman to trump had higher approval rating at this point in the presidency than joe biden does today. worst inflation in 40 years, the highest gas prices on record, the worst border crisis in american history. worst crime wave since the 1990s, the worst labor shortage in american history, out of baby formula and about to have blackouts, what did he expect? did he expect them to talk about all that? it s a miracle there are any democrats who think he ought to run. you usually don t use notes but a lot to remember. i have to keep a crib sheet of all the serial disasters. john: he did not win points with his base over what a lot of people thought was a tepid response at the supreme court. what one notoriously liberal
we are talking about whole paragraphs. don kirby should be in that position. he s probably the most competent, articulate person but karine jean-pierre was chosen for other reasons and in the end, joe biden is officially pulling at the lowest numbers of any first-term president in pulling history, talking about truman to trump. the guy who got more votes than anyone else in history is now polling lower than anyone else in his position at this time in his presidency. when you are seen by the american people as too old and not mentally sharp for the job, that s a perception that s impossible to undo. sean: just to play devil s advocate, maybe when karine jean-pierre says she can t keep up with joe biden, maybe we re just not seeing the energetic joe, maybe we are seeing it, maybe there s a side of him they ve been hiding the entire time.
thanks, aishah. let s bring in geraldo rivera and joe concha from the hill and a fox news contributor. geraldo, you ve known president trump a long time. i m sure you want to wish him a happy birthday. i do indeed. i love the guy still even though we re on opposite sides now. it s very interesting. in my neighborhood, j.d. vance in the senate race in ohio, the primary and dr. oz, of course in pennsylvania, that was all trump. trump did that. he put those two guys over the finish line. whether or not that same buzz still exists for the former president, i don t know. what has happened in the interim? the january 6 hearings. they have revealed that his behavior was crazy. it was out of control. it was narcissistic. he incited, unleashed. i wonder if he still has the same clout that he did for the vance and oz case.
as geraldo brings up, do the hearings have an impact? i m not sure they re resonating with the american people based on the numbers we re seeing. the prime time hearings, 20 million people tuned in. wow. that s an impressive number. but when you re on every network, 20 million is not impressive. you look at the president s state of the union. 40 million watched that when it was on all the networks. is 20 million that much when half are watching that watched the state of the union? i m not quite sure. to the point around revenge endorsements. the president in georgia, president being president trump, he endorsed david purdue. how many points did he lose to brian kemp by, the guy that he s been attacking. 50 points. the trump endorsements have been very good. it s like baseball. you can t go undefeated. but the one the blemish in georgia that stands out that maybe the endorse meant of folks based on revenge doesn t
