Tedeschi Trucks Band bringing ‘Fireside Live’ tour to Alabama

In 2011, Rolling Stone listed Derek Trucks at number 16 in their “100 Greatest Guitarists” tally.
Now, Trucks is bringing his Tedeschi Trucks Band, a jam-band circuit favorite, to Huntsville for a performance at 3rd Rock, the VBC’s new outdoor stage.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. June 18 show go on sale 1o a.m. April 23 via ticketmaster.com and the VBC Box Office. Ticket prices have yet to be announced. The VBC is located at 700 Monroe St. As of now, no support act has been announced.
The Huntsville is part of a tour the band is calling “Tedeschi Trucks Fireside Live,” a show in the style of TTB’s The Fireside Sessions livestreams, with lineups featuring lineups of four to eight band members performing at outdoor venues.
