Mob sets cattle-laden truck ablaze for killing Oyo boy
Wale Oyewale, Ibadan
A truck loaded with cattle was reportedly set ablaze in Saki by angry mob for killing a boy named Ayuba Raji on Monday.
According to an eyewitness, Kazeem Adebiyi, the incident happened at Challenge junction, along the Saki Dual Lane Road.
The accident, he said, could be linked with speeding by the truck driver.
Adebiyi said due to the ongoing construction work on the road, motorists usually violate the one-way rule.
A resident of Saki, Mr Adekunle Lawal, urged the contractors handling the project to device a means to construct speed breakers in order to prevent motorists from overspeeding.
