hello, again, everyone. thank you so much for joining us. i m fredricka whitfield in atlanta, alongside wolf blitzer in tel aviv. we re monitoring breaking news. cnn has learned a convoy of egyptian ambulances and a bus are now moving toward the gaza side of the rafah border crossing. they are set to transport 20 hostages expected to be released by hamas. the exchange is set to happen at any moment now. these late developments follow an anxious hours-long dispute that delayed the transfer of the second group of hostages. officials say the group will contain 13 israelis, including eight children and five women. qatari officials say an additional seven foreign nationals who fall outside the framework of the agreement between the two sides, will also be released. we re learning qatar, the u.s. and egypt helped to smooth over tensions, after hamas disputed the amount of aid being delivered from gaza and the selection of the 39 palestinian prisoners set to be released by israel a
kaitlan collins is in tel aviv bringing us the minute by minute coverage of the second day of this truce agreement. reporter: yeah, you really see what those red cross vehicles mean to the hostages. i spoke to the family of one grandmother who was released yesterday who said, she had been underground for so long that she didn t know when she did see sunlight if she was taken to being released or executed until she saw the red cross vehicles yesterday. you just see how powerful that moment is. in this next phase of the deal between israel and hamas comes after hours of a delay in the deal where you are seeing the two sides try to work something out. there were hours of uncertainty when a dispute with hamas was unfolding over the amount of aid that was going into gaza which is a major component of this deal. and then with just hours to spare, qatari officials are involved. they were able to get the deal on track after some phone calls including one with president biden. now i
