BOUNTIFUL, Utah â Front-line healthcare workers at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful were among the first in Utah to receive the recently approved Moderna vaccine Monday morning. We ve been waiting for this for a long time, said ICU nurse Liz Barnes. We re just super excited to get it done.
The hospital received 500 doses of the vaccine. Lakeview CEO Troy Wood said it was a great boost for his team, who ve been battling COVID-19 for nine months.

BOUNTIFUL More hospitals in Utah started inoculating the most at-risk health care workers on Monday after receiving doses of the newly approved Moderna vaccine.
“It was honestly a really great moment for us. We’ve been waiting for this for a long time, and we’re just super excited to get it done,” said Liz Barnes, an ICU nurse at Lakeview Hospital.
