Dec 16, 2020 A tow truck operator pulling three trailers wrecked while driving on U.S. Route 30, Hanover Township, at 3:18 p.m. Wednesday. Andrew Hamilton, 31 of Ashland, was rounding a bend when two of the trailers went off the right side of the road, disconnected and overturned. This damaged a 400-foot section of Roy StaceyÃs yard, and 170 gallons of diesel fuel also spilled into the yard, and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency was contacted. Hamilton was cited for failure to control. Kenneth E. Gumbel, 81, of Rogers, was cited for failure to yield the right of way after he pulled in front of an oncoming vehicle driven by Lucas D. Eyster, 17, of Negley, resulting in a minor accident at the intersection of state Route 7 and Church Street at 3:15 p.m. Monday.
