right now, i can hear the wind blowing in to the trees behind us. in prison yards, there are no trees. life is great. roy s brother ray was just as hopeful when he was are leased from prison. we followed him to the small trailer home where he was going to restart his live. yeah, this is nice. i love it. come on in. this is a castle to me. ray s release from prison did not go as he had hoped. we met him again a year and a half later. went and moved into that trailer. it became home. before i knew it, it was sitting in that trailer every night by myself, 24/7. it had become a drag. but things picked up for ray when he got a job with an industrial paint company.

police had in custody an accomplice of david parker ray, roy yancy, and yancy was talking, telling them he could take them to where one of the ray s disappeared victims, marie parker, was buried. ray was pretty specific about where this happened. he could remember pretty well where this was. we felt if we were able to locate this body, it was going to be a domino effect and soon this was going to lead to more and more and more. we spent the better part of a week with roy yancy, going to several different locations. we had 40 people out looking in these areas. we are helicopters out looking in these areas, and still, we weren t able to recover a body. and roy s, i guess hypothetical thesis, which seems to be credible and make sense, is that david returned to that location

i love big, tall and muscular men. i m 40 years old. i m flattered by it because i ain t no 20-year-old dude. to have a lot of girls, women and you know, making comments about how i look and stuff like that, it s nice. roy s parole serves as a constant reminder, a return from prison is just one mistake away. five, six times a day this beeper goes off and i have to call. if this calls after my curfew and i don t call from the house, i can get charged with escape. this is my babysitter. what are your goals, what are your dreams? my dream is just to get out from this just went off. i got to call. that s it. i didn t have a life sentence, but i had 20 years. even 20 years is a long time.
