Construction worker flown to Boston hospital after fall at Needham job site

A construction worker was flown to a Boston hospital Friday morning after he fell 15 to 20 feet into a hole at a Needham construction site, officials said. The worker’s injuries were non-life threatening, said Cyndi Roy Gonzalez, a spokesperson for the town of Needham. She said the fall occurred around 8:38 a.m. at the public safety building partially under construction at School and Chestnut streets. The police side of the building was the section under construction, Roy Gonzalez said. The fire and EMS side is fully operational, as construction on that end is complete.

Hayden boys beat North Park in first game back since quarantine; girls can t find their groove

His first basket tied the game at 13 against North Park and the remainder helped Hayden develop an advantage that turned into a 55-35 win. “He’s got a hurt foot, he’s not 100% right now,” head coach Mike Luppes said of Kleckler. “Andrew had a great game. We moved the ball much better offensively than we have before. So hopefully that’ll continue.”

Harmony adding health care benefits for employees Feb. 4, 2021 FacebookTwitterEmail Harmony Public School employees across the state can expect additional benefits as announced by the school system’s board. These benefits are slated to go into effect starting in the spring. According to Harmony, the addition of benefits will coincide with the benefit enrollment period. These new benefits include free vision and dental employee benefits, and an increased free life insurance policy. The life insurance policy is stated to be free for $100,000 for all exempt employees. Additionally, exempt employees can receive matching retirement contributions. Harmony explained that exempt employees can receive 100% matching contribution to employee 403(b) and/or 457(b) plan, up to $1,500 annually depending on tenure of service.
