president why he s not going to get money for this wall he wants. tomorrow they re going to take over the house of representatives. nancy pelosi is going to introduce the series of measures, and they re going to put the ball in republicans court. the feeling is, the pressure will be on the republicans to do something. and will be on president trump. what s interesting is where this negotiation is, as it relates to any kind of wall money. democrats are willing to give right around $1.3 billion. the president wanted $5 plus billion. something the house passed already. we had been hear from mick mulvaney, happy first week on the job, that the president was willing to accept significantly lower or an amount of money that was lower than that $5 billion. the president didn t seem so keen on that in his cabinet meeting today. listen. is there a number below 5 billion that you might be willing to accept in order to
