BUFFALO (AP) A New York state trooper was charged with manslaughter Monday for shooting an unarmed motorist to death after he refused to get out of his car
New York state trooper Anthony Nigro was charged with manslaughter for shooting unarmed motorist James Huber to death after he refused to get out of his car following a high-speed chase in Buffalo back in 2022.
Officers spotted Huber, from Pennsylvania, speeding on Interstate 90 and pursued him at speeds that topped 100mph before Nigro blocked him in a Buffalo street and shot him dead.
