and we ve just heard they re evacuating civilians from the line there. and russia continues to target critical infrastructure in ukraine, triggering power and water outages. overnight, central ukraine was hit, quote, all night long by russian attacks. also a new round of kamikaze drone strikes. ukraine claiming it shot down 13 drones in the mykolaiv region. clarissa ward is live with the latest. can you tell us what you re hearing happening near kherson? reporter: it s an interesting picture. one we didn t expect to see quite this quickly but what appears to be happening is the mass evacuation of civilians to the sort of left bank, if you will, on the dnipro river. to try to, in the words of russian authorities move these people to safety because there s a huge ukrainian attack anticipated. although ukrainian authorities are saying that s propaganda and they aren t planning any kind of attack, particularly not on civilian infrastructure or tarts. but nonetheless we do sta
