The Department of Music presents recitals and concerts each fall and spring semester and many of the performances are free and open to the public. Performances by students, faculty and guest artists have been announced.

Austin State University will present classical music from three eras when the student ensemble performs at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 17, in Cole Concert Hall on the SFA campus.<br/><br/>The program will feature works from the Renaissance era, the Classical period and the 20th century, such as Felix Mendelssohn’s “Holy is God the Lord” and “Mars, the Bringer of War” from Gustav Holst’s The Planets.<br/><br/>Concert tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $3 for students and youth.
