Surrey Libraries and Google Canada are supporting 50 candidates to pursue the online Google IT Support Certificate for FREE.
The Google IT Support Certificate is a course that will train and qualify you to work in information technology (IT) as an entry-level tech support worker. The course is developed from the same training Google provides its own employees! Local technology companies recognize this as a valid certificate for tech support work.
Successful applicants will be enrolled in an 8 month program running March 1 to November 8, 2020. The program consists of 5 courses and includes online instruction and in-person learning facilitation. A commitment of 8 to 10 hours per week is required.
