Tristan Fluharty was a guest on Action Line. Fluharty grew up in the  small logging town of Kooskia Idaho. He started as a temporary employee for the Forest Service in 1988 fighting forest fires as he worked his way through college. Even after graduating with an accounting degree from Boise State, Fluharty decided to stay with the Forest Service.  He worked in fire management positions in six western states and was stationed in Ketchikan for the last six years.
