Aune Osborn Campground featuring upgrades this year for guests The Sault News SAULT STE. MARIE The Sault s Department of Public Works has been working to prepare the Aune Osborn Campground for the upcoming camping season starting May 15.  Trisha Kiczenski, recreation coordinator of the Sault Ste. Marie Department of Public Works, said the staff runs through a pre-season checklist. This list includes routine maintenance, hiring staff, ordering supplies, reinstating utilities to the park, equipment checks, lining up contracted services, accessing necessary repairs to building, lighting and grounds and basic spring cleanup of the sites.  “Currently, we just completed spring grounds work to improve drainage at the park,” said  Kiczenski. “This has been an ongoing project and is in its third year. In the past, the campground had the issue of standing water after heavy rainfalls. This problem has now been corrected by our Department of Public Works by installing drain tile
