The Stratford Public Library will reopen to visitors next week as staff respond to a high demand for summer programs taking place over the next couple of months.
After the province moves into the second stage of its reopening plan Wednesday, indoor library services will resume Monday. That means a limited number of people – no more than 25 at once, a quarter of the library’s capacity – will again be able to browse the collection and check out materials in person.

As soon as they learned of an outbreak of COVID-19 at the Seaforth Long Term Care and Retirement Residence, the community began reaching out to see what they could do to support the staff and residents.
A Facebook group “Seaforth Community Cares” was established and in just a few days more than $3,000 was raised to purchase food, and other items to donate to the nursing home that many in the community still refer to as The Manor.
