A nationwide search for a principal for the Lucretia and Joseph Brown School led right back to home.
“And I am pleased to announce tonight that Dr. Sean Satterfield has been selected to open the Brown Elementary School,” Superintendent John Buckey told the School Committee.
The Coffin/Gerry School Principal was one of 30 applicants to head the new school that is tentatively scheduled to open in September. A search committee narrowed the field and finalists were put through their paces during a parent forum and then an educator’s forum.
