Temporary closures ahead for Triple Falls Trail in DuPont State Recreational Forest
CEDAR MOUNTAIN – Throughout the month of May, visitors to DuPont State Recreational Forest, a popular destination for locals and out-of-towners, should expect several temporary closures for Triple Falls Trail.
Exact dates and duration of the closures will vary and may be extended if weather conditions require it.
“Beginning in May, we’ll be working along Triple Falls Trail to specifically address the management of water flow and to remedy erosion issues that have occurred over time,” said Jane Dauster, recreational specialist at DSRF.
“Heavy equipment will be required to complete some of this work, and temporarily closing this trail is our best means to ensure the work can be done safely, efficiently and with minimal impact to the visitor experience.”
