To address health inequities in Philadelphia, 10 insurers, health care systems and medical schools are joining forces with the city to form Accelerate Health Equity. The initiative seeks to improve racial disparities in heart disease, colorectal cancer, obesity, diabetes and other areas of concern. Participants include IBX, Penn Medicine, Jefferson Health, Temple Health, CHOP, Main Line Health, Drexel University and PCOM.
