Detectives searching for missing Stokesley science teacher Darren Blyth who vanished more than a week ago have renewed their appeal for help.
The 55-year-old dad left his home in Trimdon Station, County Durham, on the evening of Wednesday, April 14, to take photographs of the sunset at Hawthorn Dene, but did not return home.

Police are searching for the missing teacher at Hawthorn Dene POLICE investigating the disappearance of a school teacher have searched a dene following a desperate appeal by his family. Darren Blyth, 55, was last seen on Wednesday after he went to Hawthorn Dene, not far from his home in Trimdon Station, County Durham, telling his family he was intending to take photographs. Darren Blyth left his home in Trimdon Station on Wednesday Mr Blyth, who is a biology teacher at Stokesley School, has been married to his wife Mel for 13 years and has two daughters, Abigail, nine, and Katrina, 36.
