Trial went on without James William Gentry in Trigg Circuit Court Tuesday and a jury found him guilty of murder and robbery for the 2018 death of Keith Joey Hayes.
That’s according to Commonwealth’s Attorney Carrie Ovey-Wiggins, who says the jury also sentenced Gentry to life without the possibility of parole for 25 years.
Gentry admitted to Kentucky State Police that he was present when Hayes was shot multiple times on November 27, 2018. He also admitted to transporting Hayes to the location on Buffalo Road in Trigg County where he was killed and later located.
