The State Board for Community Colleges has certified four finalists for the position of president at Patrick Henry Community College. The finalists were among 64 applicants from across the nation.
The four finalists, in alphabetical order, are Dr. Alessandro Anzalone of Tampa, Fla.; Dr. Jermaine Ford of Lafayette, La.; Dr. J. Gregory Hodges of Ridgeway; and Dr. Tanjula Petty of Pike Road, Ala.

COLONEL CASEY P. DODDS
Col Casey P. Dodds is the Vice Commander of the 910th Airlift Wing, Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio. The wing is comprised of more than 1200 Air Force Reserve members and is equipped with eight C-130H2 aircraft. The wing trains and employs the C-130 Hercules globally on medium range airlift, tactical airland and airdrop, Modular Aerial Spray System, and Aeromedical Evacuation missions.
Col Dodds is a native of Longmont, Colo. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colo. and was commissioned through the University of Colorado, Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 1992. After graduating from Undergraduate Missile Training in 1993, he served as a Deputy Combat Crew Commander until attending Undergraduate Navigator Training. In 1995, following Undergraduate Navigator Training, he served in numerous units as a C-130 Navigator, Instructor, Evaluator and Weapons Officer at Pope Air Force Ba

March Spotlight teacher is Reed Ellett. Mr. Ellett is a Special Education teacher at
Brownwood High School (BHS). He holds an Associates Degree from the Community College of the Air Force in Alabama, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Devry University, and a Master of Science Degree in Information Technology Management from Trident University International. He is a certified teacher holding a professional license for teaching General Education (4th-8th) and Special Education (EC-12). This is Mr. Ellett’s third year with Brownwood ISD. Mr. Ellett is a dedicated teacher and fantastic individual that influences the culture at BHS. He works diligently to ensure Life Academic Students are a part of the BHS community.
