Kpix 5s anne makovec has the very latest from the scene on international boulevard this morning in oakland. Anne. Reporter im here at international at 23rd avenue in oakland. 37 people are out of their homes this morning after this huge fire. It started in this blue building here behind me. Firefighters say it started in the back of the building outside and quickly spread up the walls, blew out the roof and then spread to the White Building next door. 10 Apartment Units total on the upper floor of these buildings, and then there were three businesses on the bottom, a bake shop, hair salon and bookstore. Now, all the 37 people who lived in those apartments got out okay. But their homes are destroyed. And five dogs are missing. The apartment goes all the way to the back. The haunting scene, two male bodies found in two backyards in a Community Called Strawberry Manor near mill valley. Right now its unknown what the relationship is between these two victims. Reporter the Sheriffs Office got the call at about 8 00 last night after the family of a 61yearold man who was killed in his backyard came home to find him. At that point we realized this was more than just a medical event. This was a crime. Reporter and the search of the neighborhood began. They did in fact find an open gate at a house directly adjacent to the crime scene at 152 carlotta circle. Reporter in that yard, a second dead man with a gunshot wound a gun next to his body. Tara moriarty joins us live to explain why investigators are trying to figure out what happened in the moments before the lan landed on the freeway man landed on the freeway. Tara . Reporter police say the man jumped from the freeway overpasses but the reasons behind why he jumped could possibly determine if this will be classified as a suicide or homicide. It snarled traffic for three hours and a gruesome scene on 880 southbound after a man fell from the industrial parkway overpass. Authorities say he jumped but they are not yet sure why. If he jumped because he was trying to evade someone who was trying to harm him, then you could have a potential homicide charge. Reporter the man was immediately struck by a big rig and killed.
