Budgam,October 30 (Scoop News)-Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today addressed an event in connection with the ongoing Back to Village programme at Sheikhpura area of Budgam district. More than 25,000 officers are making field visits across the UT to receive feedback from the public on various schemes being implemented by the government. Kargil,February, 22(Scoop News)-The 1st BDC Cup Inter Panchayats (Rolling Trophy) Sub Junior (under 16) Ice Hockey Tournament concluded today at Samrah Chiktan.
On the occasion, Executive Councillor for Health, Mohsin Ali was the chief guest while incharge SDM and Tehsildar Shakar Chiktan, Kacho Asgar Ali Khan was the guest of honor.
Chairperson, Block Development Council (BDC), Shakar Chiktan, Syeeda Banoo, incharge Police Post Chiktan, Sarpanch Samrah Muhammad Ali Khan, PRI members, ice hockey players and a large number of sports enthusiasts were present at the closing ceremony.
The tournament was organized by Panchayat Halqa Samrah in collaboration with Kargil Ice and Snow Sports Club, United Samrah Club and Shakar Chiktan Winter Games Association.
