Hoang 'Wayne' Xuan Le will spend the rest of his life in federal prison, after he was found guilty of beating, shooting and dumping a man off a boat three miles off of Dana Point.
Hoang "Wayne" Xuan Le was convicted Dec. 10, 2021, in the murder of Tri "James" Dao on Oct. 14, 2019. Dao reportedly owed Le between $30,000 and $40,000, and Le told one friend he hoped to collect on Dao's life insurance policy.
