Allegedly breaking into an apartment last summer has led to an Iowa City man’s arrest.
52-year-old Charles McDile of Linden Road was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 6:30 Friday night. Iowa City Police say that McDile and another man went to an apartment at Town & Campus on Arthur Street on the night of July 16th. The two then kicked in the door and entered. The resident was not home at the time. McDile and the other subject were inside the apartment for a few minutes before leaving.
McDile is charged with Trespass Causing Injury or Damage Greater Than $300, a Serious Misdemeanor punishable by a maximum of one year in jail.
