Ellis County Murder Suspect In Harris County Jail
WAXAHACHIE – The Ellis County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson said late last week that Trenton James Adams has still not been returned to Ellis County.
In a short statement the spokesperson said once the 28-year-old Ellis County resident, Trenton Adams, has been arraigned, and has been cleared by Harris County he will be transported to the Ellis County Jail in Waxahachie, Texas. When he arrives he will be booked in for the Murder of 29-year-old Waxahachie resident Jordan Von Hoffman.

A 25-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a murder in Ellis County last month.
Lauren Danielle Dovers was arrested on Tuesday and charged with fabricating/tampering with physical evidence and intent to impair a human corpse, a second-degree felony.

Dovers was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Ellis County Sheriff s Office in connection with the murder of Jordan Von Hoffman.

Authorities made a second arrest in connection with a body found last month in Ennis.
Lauren Danielle Dovers, 25, was arrested Tuesday in the death of 29-year-old Jordan Von Hoffman, the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office said.
Dovers faces a charge of tampering or fabricating physical evidence with the intent to impair a human corpse, a second-degree felony.
She is being held at the Ellis County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
On April 8, officials arrested Trenton James Adams, 28, at an apartment in Houston.

The Ellis County Sheriffâs Office Criminal Investigations Division has made a second arrest in the investigation into the murder of Jordan Von Hoffman.
Lauren Danielle Dovers, 25, of Waxahachie, was taken into custody April 28, charged with tampering with physical evidence, a human corpse.
According to ECSO, she was booked into the Ellis County Jail on charges of tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair a human corpse, a second degree felony. Her bond is set at $200,000.
Her arrest, and that of Trenton James Adams April 8, came after deputies responded to a report of a dead body, later identified as Jordan Von Hoffman of Waxahachie, March 24 to the 6900 block Ensign Road in Ennis.
