A new wave of departures continues for Michigan State.
Redshirt freshman tight end Tommy Guajardo, redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Damon Kaylor, fifth-year senior defensive end DeAri Todd, redshirt freshman defensive tackle Chris Mayfield, redshirt freshman defensive end Jasiyah Robinson and redshirt freshman walk-on long snapper Bryce Eimer all entered the transfer portal on Monday. None of the six players have ever appeared in a game with the Spartans.

Michigan State had only two rushing touchdowns during the 2020 season and zero by its running backs.
One came from tight end Tyler Hunt, a walk-on punter/kicker who switched positions in the offseason. Evan Morris, another walk-on punter/kicker, also moved to tight end.
