ROTTERDAM It was clear early on in Saturday’s football game between Schalmont and Lansingburgh which team was going to remain unbeaten.
Schalmont put three touchdowns on the board in a matter of minutes and continued to display its superiority on offense in a 46-14 Class B Reinfurt Division win.
“You had two unbeaten teams,” Schalmont senior receiver and cornerback Darius Green said after the Sabres improved to 3-0 in the “Fall II” season. “If we took them lightly, they would have run all over us. We played 100% and did what we had to do.”
