Motorists faced delays on the M6 this afternoon as a "spillage of offal" caused queues. There were delays of almost an hour on the M6 between junctions 14 and 15 on the northbound carriageway.Traffic information service Inrix reported that the incident had previously been reported as an accident. Queuing traffic was estimated to be around five miles.A spokesperson for Inrix said: "Long delays, two lanes closed and queueing traffic for five miles due to broken down lorry on M6 Northbound between Stafford Services and J15 A500 D Road (Stoke-On-Trent). Travel time is 45 minutes. Note change of details. Lanes one and two (of four) are closed. Initially reported as an accident. Stafford Services is located between J14 and J15."A spokesperson for National Highways said: "Two (of four) lanes are closed on the #M6 in #Staffordshire northbound between J14 & J15 due to a spillage of offal.
