On Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 5:56 p.m., on the 1000 block of 1st Street, Lake Park, a hospital patient gave their key to a friend to pick up some personal items while they were recovering in a nearby clinic. When the patient was discharged, and returned home, they discovered more items were missing from the residence and suspected their friend. Also on Tuesday, at 4:30 p.m., on the 25000 block of Township Road 81, Detroit Lakes, a caller didn't like the tile work in their bathroom from what they thought was a licensed contractor. Upon further investigation, the caller discovered the contractor was not licensed.
