COIMBATORE: During a field visit in 2015, a researcher from the Western regional centre of the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) Durai Vasanthakumar and his team spotted a small bulge along the middle vein of one of the leaves of ziziphus mauritiana (Indian jujube) near Singanallur lake, Coimbatore.
