Authorities have arrested two men wanted for the murder of 22-year-old Curtis Smith, who was shot to death during a robbery in Apple Valley in 2018.
Booking records show Alexander Simmons, 27, and Treavion Jamar Early, 20, were picked up by local authorities at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas on Dec. 17. Simmons appeared in a Victorville courtroom for a video arraignment on Dec. 18, and pleaded not guilty to seven felony counts, including murder, first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary.
Simmons had a public defender appointed and his bail was set at $1.85 million, court records show. He is due back in court Dec. 29.
