A Schenectady County jury found Anthony Romero guilty of second-degree murder Monday in the fatal Hulett Street shooting of Treavine Tate on Memorial Day 2022.
Jurors heard closing arguments, and began deliberations Friday afternoon in the case of Anthony Romero, who is accused of murdering a man on Schenectady’s Hulett Street in 2022. Closing arguments came after an eight-day trial in Schenectady County Court that looked at the death of Treavine Tate, who was shot multiple times on May 30, 2022.
An investigator for the Schenectady County District Attorney s Office testified Tuesday that he was able to track down surveillance video that showed the fatal shooting of Treavine Tate late on May 30, 2022.
Opening statements in the trial of a Schenectady man accused of murdering another man on Hulett Street in 2022 discussed self-defense, or a lack thereof.
