WORTHINGTON A Worthington man will serve two years of supervised probation for a criminal case in which he was convicted of fourth-degree assault of a peace officer when he spat on an officer during an altercation at a convenience store last year.
Tre Quan Wright, 20, was arrested in July 2020 when police responded to a report that Wright was fighting with another person at Worthington s Food-N-Fuel. When an officer attempted to break up the fight, Wright reportedly began spitting on the officer. He was eventually arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault of a peace officer, domestic assault by strangulation, obstruction of the legal process and fourth-degree property damage.
