Chief executive Travis O’Keefe says the first course last year drew Māori and Pasifika from all walks of life in e-commerce, including mothers at home, beneficiaries, professionals and business owners.
With help from government funding, donations and a partnership with e-commerce giant Shopify’s global indigenous programme, Te Whare Hukahaka is offering scholarships totalling $1.3 million to cover the $7500 fee for the three-month course.
