SPICER Bad weather and warmer-than-usual January temperatures didn t stop crews from harvesting ice Friday from Green Lake in Spicer to build the Spicer Ice Castle for the 36th annual Winterfest. The Wee Kut Ice Company is extracting the ice blocks while Travis Masonry and Charles Construction companies are building the ice structure. The group will be building on Saulsbury Beach throughout the weekend.
