Apr. 19 Police arrested a suspected shoplifter who was accused of making terrorist threats with a hand grenade at a supermarket Friday afternoon in Vacaville, officials said.
Octavio Rodriguez, 23, of Fairfield, was booked into Solano County jail for allegedly making criminal threats, assault and shoplifting, police said. Officials determined that the device was a practice grenade and no injuries were reported.
Police responded to a report of a suspected shoplifter who appeared to be in possession of an explosive device at a supermarket in the 100 block of Browns Valley Parkway.
