KANSAS CITY, Mo. â A band of wintry precipitation has moved into the Kansas City area, causing several slide-offs and crashes on area roadways.
The entire Kansas City area is in a Winter Weather Advisory until 1 p.m. this afternoon, when temperatures are expected to warm above freezing.
Between now and then, however, wintry conditions are making travel difficult.
The Missouri Department of Transportation Kansas City office said there are multiple crashes on the roads this morning.
