QUEZON CITY, Feb. 20 — The Department of the Interior and Local Government said today that easing the quarantine status of the entire country to MGCQ starting March as recommended by the IATF and NEDA would address the fragmented travel restrictions imposed by Local Government Units (LGUs).
Putting the entire country under the most relaxed COVID-19 quarantine status starting March would result in the needed harmonization of different travel policies of local government units, an official of the Department of the Interior and Local Government said Saturday.

Under the hybrid concept, only 30% physical attendance will be allowed, according to Major Cherryl Tindog, PMA spokesperson, on Tuesday. With the HYBRID concept in place, this year s homecoming will again be different from the traditional conduct of the event where only a few alumni and the awardees will be physically present for a limited face to face interaction, while other alumni will participate via Zoom Video Teleconferencing, Tindog said. The event to be held on February 12 to 13 at the Academy s Grandstand in Fort Gregorio del Pilar, Baguio City has the permission from the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF), Tindog said.

+ January 18, 2021 BACOLOD City Mayor Evelio Leonardia has issued Executive Order (EO) No. 1, establishing the consolidated guidelines for travel into the City of Bacolod.
Leonardia, who signed the EO on January 4, 2021, said that during the modified general community quarantine in November and December 2020, the number of positive coronavirus cases in Bacolod City had been greatly reduced and only less than 50 active cases.
Based on data collected by the Emergency Operations Center, a total of 29 persons who have entered Bacolod City hd tested positive for the coronavirus from October 2020 to present.
Leonardia said while the city saw reduced number of infected cases, such positive outlook may be endangered by travelers coming from the outside.
