Out Friday, September 15th is CMF2, the second solo album from Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor. The follow-up to 2020's "CMFT," the 13-song set was produced by Jay Ruston, who worked on Taylor's previous album as well as Sone Sour's 2017 set "Hydrograd" and albums by Anthrax, Steel Panther and Amon Amarth, among others. Taylor himself plays guitar, piano and mandolin on the album, which explores a range from heavy rock to acoustic Americana. Taylor tells us that thanks to the strong reception for "CMFT" he was even more confident in making "CMF2:" 2.01 "We really had no expectations for the first album; it was just a way to kind of get those songs out there and see if anybody even liked my songwriting, to be honest. And this was stuff I had for 20 years or so. So realizing I had the audience it kind of refocused me. It was, 'OK, we're gonna lean into this now.'" :21 (OC: into this now) CMFT receiv
