Police say they received a report that a woman was being assaulted by two men and a woman in the Trasna Way area of Lisnaskea at around 2.45pm yesterday. The victim was later airlifted to hospital for treatment. Four to stand trial charged in connection with blackmail plot 02 February, 2021 13:10 FOUR Co Fermanagh people are to stand trial in relation to an alleged blackmail plot to secure the release of a lorry held at docks The accused are Paul Arthur Maye (56) from Sally s Wood and Patrick Thomas McDonagh (30) of Tummery Road, both Irvinestown; along with Christopher Francis McGovern (42) and his partner Sandra Morrison (51) both of Trasna Way Lisnaskea. Maye faces four counts of blackmail and two of fraud by false representation. It is alleged 27 September 2017, he dishonestly told the victim a loan of £5,000 was required to release a lorry from harbour docks - the area of which was not disclosed.
