Caseville introduces preliminary budgets for 2021-22 year

The Caseville City Council introduced preliminary fiscal year 2022 budgets for both the city and Downtown Development Authority at its recent monthly meeting, and also set public hearings for them.
The preliminary budget would have $1.535 million in expenditures, a decrease of $70,000 from the budgeted amount for fiscal year 2020-21. City expenditures include the city parks, the district library, public works, and the different government offices.
The preliminary budget would have $1.535 million in expenditures, a decrease of $70,000 from the budgeted amount for FY 2020-21. This is due to not spending $50,000 on recreation grant expenses for the Breakwall Point park and around $15,400 less in funding for recreation and culture items.
