SUKKUR: Pakistan People s Party leader Syed Khursheed Shah has said Pakistan has been facing a new wave of terrorist attacks that are causing panic and fear among the people, while the government is on its mission to crush the opposition parties. While talking to media persons on Monday outside of the NAB Court Sukkur, Syed Khursheed Shah said he was being punished for advocating the supremacy of parliament, saying the government and the opposition have not been performing their responsibilities. KARACHI: Sindh Assembly member Firdous Shamim Naqvi tendered his resignation as the Leader of the Opposition in the assembly on Friday.
Speaking to journalists at the ‘media corner’ on the premises of the provincial assembly, he confirmed that he had dispatched his resignation to the prime minister, saying that he would no more hold the office of the Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly.
“I am an ordinary worker of the PTI and will continue to serve the party,” he said adding that the PTI was his first and last political party and he was not joining any other party.
